Faith- based local Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) offering Comprehensive
HIV Care & treatment, Training, Research & General Medical Services;
also providing Health Systems Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS
Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda.
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for supporting the
M&E Manager to establish and maintain a functional Monitoring and
Evaluation System for Mildmay Uganda Programmes.
- Develop
results based management and performance frameworks for Mildmay programme - Responsible
for the effective planning, budgeting and expenditure for MUg programme
activities - Offer
technical support in developing strategic information sharing framework
& generating reports for MUg - Develop
data collection & reporting plan for all MUg interventions - Document
programme outcomes so as to promote efficiency, cost effectiveness and
relevance of mug interventions - Support
the development of sustainable MUg programmes - Perform
any other tasks as may be assigned by your Supervisor.
- The
candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Development
studies, Quantitative economics, Statistics, population studies or other
related field with postgraduate qualification in M&E. - A
minimum of three years’ experience in Monitoring & Evaluation
preferably in the health sector with specific experience in Health
Management Information Systems (HMIS) and OVC MIS. - Past
experience in data management, research and proficiency in project
implementation reporting are a requirement for this position. - The
candidate must have advanced computer skills in STATA, SPSS, MS Excel and
MS Access. - Ability
to work under pressure; and in sympathy with the Christian values of
Mildmay Uganda. - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, Proficiency in various Microsoft
office packages and working knowledge of English and local language(s) are
crucial. - Evidence
of a non-judgemental approach regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality
and lifestyle is critical.
