provision of quality behaviour change programs. Straight Talk Foundation (STF)
is a Ugandan health communication NGO registered in 1997.
Journalist will be responsible for packaging and disseminating audio
information to target audiences.
- Collect
interviews and information on key topics to inform Straight Talk Radio
Programs - Transcribe
and write scripts - Voice
and Edit Radio Programs - Log
and reply letters, SMS and Face book posts from Listeners/ clients - Support
the formation of Straight Talk Listening Clubs.
- The
applicant should hold a Diploma in Mass communication or any relevant
qualifications with additional training in radio communication. - Working
experience of at least one year in Radio Journalism. - Ability
to design audio communication messages - Ability
to write scripts and record audio programmes - Utilize
different computer packages for radio communications - Ability
to communicate effectively both orally and in writing - Apply
analytical techniques for reporting communication activities - Ability
to read and write very well in the above languages.
