come up with a new corporate plan in order to match with its new vision of
“being a centre of excellence in Entrepreneurial land management and
development in Uganda and beyond.”

- Actively
coordinate with Tenants, external counsel and other stake holders to
obtain and exchange information and documentation related to legal
matters. - Following
up on the Titling of process. - Prepare
legal correspondence and presentations. - Regularly
inspecting of disputed areas to assess the viability of filing cases. - Collaborating
with other departments to direct Land compliance issues. - Instigating
and following up of criminal trespass cases. - Following
up of civil suits to obtain and confirm hearings in liaison with court
clerks. - Working
with bailiffs to enforce decrees as awarded by court. - Servicing
of process and or correspondences when required. - Responsible
for visiting sites with related officers and verify facts as presented.
- The
candidate should hold a degree in Bachelor of Laws and a Diploma in Legal
practice - Good
understanding and knowledge of Land Property Laws. - Possess
highly effective communication and interpersonal skills - Possess
the ability to meet critical deadlines. - Highly
proactive with knowledge of working with communities. - Confidentiality
is paramount.
