Coordination Assistant will be supporting in all Secretarial and coordination
activities for the Committee for Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture of Africa
(CIFAA).
incumbent will;
- Support
in coordinating all communications and activities related to the Committee
for Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture of Africa (CIFAA) - Render
support in organizing all CIFAA meetings and workshops, including travel
arrangements - Provide
secretarial services at CIFAA meetings and workshops - Organize
and prepare meeting/workshop presentations/documents follow up all
expenditure requests related to the CIFAA Meetings and prepare all related
accountabilities - Actively
support in the compilation of CIFAA Meeting minutes and related reports - Perform
any other related duties as will be assigned by the FAO Representative in
Uganda from time to time.
- The
applicants for the United Nations FAO Coordination Assistant should hold a
University degree in Secretarial Studies or a related field. Work
Experience - Significant
experience in organising high level international meetings. - Proven
experience in the use of different computer software relevant to
secretarial work. - Working
knowledge of English and limited knowledge of any major local language. - Proficiency
in the use of French will be a desirable advantage
