(restaurants serving the airline and VIP flights and ground with signs Caffé
Lindo, E-Café Sky Café), and in the rail, marine, communities (embassies,
schools, private companies, hospitals), also associated services including
aerial specialist managed services “in flight” (Inflight), the sales
on board (Buy-on-board), the Off- taxes (duty free)) and remote support (remote
sites).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure
that all meals produced are as per agreed specifications by the clients. - Mentor
and train staff on basic hygiene practices and related HACCP and HALAL
standards. - Actively
monitor food sample collection by the laboratory staff and send food
samples-to clients if requested. - Verify
quality and safety conditions of all raw materials - Monitors
B & I to ensure that food safety and hygiene is not compromised. - Ensures
that all items in stores are well maintained. - Monitor
the production process by verifying that all standards are well
maintained. - Ensures
that portioned meal weights correspond to the relevant menu
specifications. - Ensures
that all staff are knowledgeable about hygiene requirements and ensures
that its implemented - Carry
out monthly food tests - Regularly
monitoring operational procedures i.e. temperature controls - Ensures
that all first aid boxes are fully stocked and manage all first aid
requirements - Ensures
that critical control points are well followed. - Technically
support corrective and preventive actions and support actions
implementation as required. - Collect
all injury on duty data - Manage
the overall sanitary conditions. - Encourage
that the company vision and values are lived throughout all aspects of
duties performed to encourage cross-functional teamwork, collaboration and
continuous improvement.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicants should hold a diploma in food science technology/ public health
or food safety qualification - Previous
experience in agrifood industry is mandatory - Three
or more years’ experience as quality officer in a food industry - Working
knowledge of ISO 9001, and/or 22000 standards would be much appreciated
