Job Summary: The
Processing Officer will plan, coordinate, and direct Cocoa processing – related
activities in the company. He/she will determine how to achieve the production
goals and is responsible for managing labour and related costs.

goals and is responsible for managing labour and related costs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes
production plan by scheduling; establishing priorities; monitoring
progress; revising schedules; resolving problems. - Actively
initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, work
methods and facilitate corrections to malfunctions within process control
point. - Oversee
the labor force and shift work to accomplish production results by
communicating task expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising
results. - Coordinate
with the procurement teams in different units to establish expected goods
and plan stock management. - Responsible
for the documentation, periodic reporting and record-keeping systems of
goods received, processed and production summaries. - Oversee
the production process from goods received, processing to stacking.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should preferably hold a Higher Diploma in Agri-business,
Technical or related course from a recognized higher Institution of
learning. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage. - Five
or more years and above hands on experience in processing Agricultural
products from raw material to semi complete product. - Highly
creative, innovative and willing to contribute ideas and professional
opinion - Strong
sense of initiative and a “can do” attitude - Possess
the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Age: Above 35 years.
