Job Summary: The
Information Technology Officer will be charged with planning, developing
programs, entering and analyzing data on defined systems and designs to support
UNMEB.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In
charge of entry of data - Validate
and clean data; - Regularly
check and ensure correctness and completeness of entries and results; - Intuitively
analyze data according to specifications; - Maintain
computers in good working condition; - Ensure
data storage, safety and retrieval for specified purposes; - Filter
information based on instances; - Design
and develop .programs for use on examinations purposes; - The
IT Officer will develop technical user specifications for Personal
Computers and computer hardware and software; - Maintain
networks for and within the main frame; - Perform
such other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
IT Officer should hold an Honors’ Bachelors’ Degree in Information
Technology from a recognized University or Educational Institution. - Possession
of a Post Graduate qualification in systems design, website administration
and networking from a recognized Institution. - Working
knowledge in computer programming is an added advantage.
