& Technology (MUST), commonly known as Mbarara University, is a public
university in Uganda. Mbarara University commenced student intake and
instruction in 1989. It is one of the eight public universities and
degree-awarding institutions in the country. MUST is accredited by the Uganda
National Council for Higher Education.
- In
charge of the preparation of maintenance and service plans for the
university IT equipment in accordance with the university IT Maintenance
Manual - Software
and hardware maintenance and service as per university IT maintenance
plans and manual - General
software and hardware repairs of university IT equipment - Responsible
for user support training - In
charge of the development of maintenance and service plans for university
computers - Technical
and labour support during implementation of labour-intensive IT projects - Charge
with the compilation and submission of periodic reports on university IT
equipment - Ensure
timely maintenance of the University ICT equipment register
- The
applicant should hold both UCE and UACE Certificates with and additional diploma in Computer
Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology - Possession
of professional CISCO Certified Network Association (CCNA) and IT
Essentials (ITE) - A
minimum of two or more years of related experience
