Job Summary: The Knowledge
and Information officer will be responsible for putting the creative knowledge and
innovation into social media success stories to deliver engaging content across
our key global and regional platforms and supporting us lead the way in social
media.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible
    for Information Management across the company’s various social platforms
  • Oversee
    the administration associated with subscriptions e.g.  Userid/password maintenance
  • Downloading
    data into a central repository
  • In
    charge of the management and reporting on information costs
  • Effectively
    handling all subscription related enquiries
  • Research
    into new data sources
  • Provide
    training and guidance to teams on information sources/ tools
  • Promoting
    awareness of copyright compliance within the organization
  • Obtaining
    copyright permissions from publishers
  • Promote
    a culture of knowledge sharing amongst staff
  • The
    incumbent will be assisting in the daily activity across various social
    platforms, building up an engaged following and delivering first class
    customer service.
  • Your
    strong attention to detail and planning skills will ensure you can manage
    multiple projects at one time, driving our social media forward.
  • As
    one of the main contacts for information and knowledge requests the
    candidate should enjoy working with people in an international
    environment, have an outgoing positive personality and be passionate about
    information and knowledge sharing.
  • In
    addition, you will work as the Company’s Librarian to support the Senior
    Librarian in the efficient management of the organisation’s library.
  • Supervise
    members using the library and assist staff and member of the public whilst
    in use of library resources
  • Handling
    other enquiries
  • Processing
    and cataloguing of library resources
  • Ensuring
    items are issued/ returned correctly
  • Shelving
    and shelf straightening
  • Actively
    monitoring the use of the library and help to keeping library statistics
  • Maintaining
    security of library and its contents
  • Creating
    displays of work and new resources
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Library/Information
    Science
  • First
    class communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent
    customer service skills and the ability to build relationships at all
    levels
  • Past
    experience/strong interest in Knowledge Management
  • Excellent
    IT skills including Excel, PowerPoint and database searching
  • High
    determination to succeed and a “can do” attitude
  • Be
    a good team, business unit and company player
