journey in 1993, as a deposit taking financial institution then trading by the
name Capital Finance Corporation Limited. Licensed and supervised by Bank of
Uganda under the Financial Institutions Act 2004, Capital Finance Corporation
Limited offered a wide range of products such as savings accounts, business
accounts, fixed deposits, business loans services and remittances through Western
Union money transfer agency. ABC Capital Bank is part of ABC Group, Kenya and
has ambitious growth plans.
Job Summary: The ABC Capital
Bank will be responsible for the promotion of institutional banking business by
targeting mid corporates, and SME’s in Branch. Key focus be on mid corporate
companies, NGO’s, Churches, Legal firms, Education Institutions, Medical
Practitioners, individuals and sole proprietorship concerns.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Enhancement
    of wallet share for every client.
  • Direct
    and through references, enhancement of business.
  • The
    incumbent will enhance sales in all third party products for fee based
    earning.
  • In
    charge of preparing & implementing sales plan/activities to acquire, expand
    and retention profitable relationships
  • Identifying
    and evaluating potential customers’ financial and service needs and recommend
    product/service offerings in liaison with Product Development Manager.
  • Identifying
    and developing new profitable business relationship.
  • Ensure
    timely planning and implementing campaigns for sales promotions
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Growth
    in Balance Sheet and P&L of the Bank as per budget.
  • Growth
    in new customers
  • Customer
    retention growth
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal applicant for the ABC Capital Bank vacancy should hold a University
    Degree preferably in Marketing or Business Management
  • A
    minimum of six or more years of proven experience and track record in
    banking, 4 of which should be in management role.
  • Excellent
    sales record in the delivery of business targets.
  • Has
    working knowledge of operations, processes and credit.
  • Possess
    excellent communication skills both written and speaking
  • Sales
    and negotiating skills
  • Team
    building and leadership skills
  • Customer
    Service skills
  • Excellent
    analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Proven
    planning, coordination and time management skills
  • Computer
    literacy skills in word –processing, presentations and statistical
    analysis
  • Well
    versed with KYC/AML compliance requirements
  • Well
    versed in the Banks products
