banks, chemical & pharmaceutical industries, hospitals, commercial and
trading houses and household covers etc.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:   
  • Manage assigned banks end to end relationship.
  • Develop strong ties with bank staff/branches and
    develop business.
  • Ensure that monthly premium targets assigned for each
    bank relationship is met;
  • New business and retention targets are to be met.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of service to the banks.
  • Develop a list of prospective clients to be targeted
    jointly with the bank;
  • Communicate value proposition of Trans Africa to the
    prospects and close them.
  • Ensure that all opportunities within the bank are
    targeted.
  • Identify and target prospective banks/alternate channel
    partners in the market.
  • Constantly and consistently engage with the banks and
    banking staff – the engagement has to be high.
  • Ensure that all dealings with clients and
    banks/banking staff are compliant as per IRA and company guidelines.
  • Send timely reports as and when required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The ideal candidate should hold a Degree or diploma
    in related field
  • At least three to five years of insurance industry
    experience in similar roles
  • Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance – preferred
  • The suitable candidate should be having strong market
    knowledge and be an aggressive sales/ distribution professional.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Moderate analytical skills.
  • Good business development skills.
  • Team player
