mandate is to procure, store and distribute medicines and other medical
supplies to public health facilities in Uganda.
Procurement Assistant will be responsible for conducting procurement duties
including bidding preparations and bid Valuations.
- Prepare
standard bidding documents and PPDA submission forms for procurements for
review and approval - Prepare
notifications of award and contract managers in tracking delivery
schedules of supplies, works, and services in order to enforce compliance
with contract terms. - Update
the pre- qualified suppliers’ database to be used in selecting possible
suppliers of works, services and goods. - The
incumbent will issue bids and support bid opening meetings - Attend
and give advice during bid evaluation meetings - Offer
procurement and supply chain information required to be used during
procurement process. - Offer
procurement reference numbers and keep all necessary documents on the
procurement files - Work
in liaison with contract managers in tracking delivery schedules of
supplies, works and services in order to enforce compliance with contract
terms - Perform
any other duties assigned from time to time
- The
applicants should hold a Diploma in Pharmacy - Three
years’ experience in procurement from a reputable organization - Computer
literacy skills
