Job Summary: The Health
Programme Manager will work in liaison with the leadership in the communities
and Health Centres in order to provide sustainable and quality health service
delivery in the communities of Southern Uganda. The successful applicant will
be committed to the Cotton-On Foundation’s goal of facilitating quality maternal
and childcare services in the project areas of Southern Uganda by 2020. The
role is a leadership and management opportunity that will promote improved
health in communities. The role is to monitor and assist the established Health
Centres of Mannya, Busibo, Namabaale and other Outreach locations to improve
Health provision. This position will also play a leading role of ensuring that
we for filled our 2020 vision of improving maternal, childcare health programs
as well as prevention of infectious diseases in the project areas of Southern
Uganda by 2020 is attained.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Health Services
Management or its equivalent. Possession of a Masters level qualification
preferably Public Health, and Project Planning & Management. Diploma
in Clinical Medicine & Community Health - Valid
registration certificate with the relevant health regulatory council in
Uganda is a MUST. - At
least five years health programme management experience in the rural areas
of Uganda. - Past
exposure and experience in School and community health programming.
