The National Forestry Authority
(NFA) is a Government agency established under the National Forestry and Tree
Planting Act, 2003 as a corporate body responsible for sustainable development
and management of Central Forest Reserves (CFRs) and provision of technical
support to stakeholders in the forest sub-sector.

Job Summary: The NFA
Legal Clerk will provide clerical work to the legal department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for effecting service of court process within the law and other necessary
documents as may be requested. - Expeditiously
follow up of documents issued by courts of law. - Preparing
and deponent of documents falling within this domain such as affidavits of
service and others. - Getting
documents commissioned and witnessed. - Ensure
proper articulation of the law on service of process. - Fixing
of cases for hearing. - Payment
of stamp duty and other statutory fees or charges. - Perform
any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the aforementioned NFA career placement should a
diploma in law. - At
least three (3) years of experience working in a commercially business
oriented environment or with a busy law firm. - The
applicant must be computer literate. - Possess
a valid process server’s certificate.
