Kindergarten Teacher – SOS Children’s Villages

About SOS:
SOS Children’s Villages Uganda is an indigenous non-government, social
development organisation affiliated to SOS Children’s Villages International, a
worldwide child care organisation, currently running Children’s Villages and
other projects in 135 countries around the world. SOS has been working in
Uganda since 1991, and runs Children’s Villages and other projects at Kakiri,
Entebbe (Abaita Ababiri), Gulu and in Fort Portal – Kabarole district.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant should be a mature
    individual aged between 32-35 years with a diploma in early childhood
    education from a recognised institution.
  • Significant experience in teaching at
    Kindergarten level for at least three years, training in jolly phonics
    teaching package is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, written
    & spoken English.
  • He/ she must be youthful, display much
    interest in educational matters and development of children, with a strong
    desire to help them attain greater educational achievements.
  • Skills in music, sports/games, dance,
    clubs or similar school activity will be of great advantage.
  • Should be willing to stay and work in
    Gulu.
