Job Summary: The ICT
Officer will provide database and system administration, maintenance, backups
and recovery services, analysis, monitoring and support of the business ICT
systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively
support and enhance IT operational capacity in the Country office business
operations. - Support
business efficiency and effectiveness by analysing business needs in the
Company along the lines of BPR and make recommendations on improvement and
development on web and wap based applications in line. - Administer
the helpdesk system. - Maintain
operational, configuration, or other procedures while performing periodic
performance reporting to support capacity planning (System support). - Attend
to user requests on the Helpdesk system. - In
charge of setting up new machines for release to new users. - Responsible
for installing, training and supporting office automation tools like
versions of Microsoft Office. - Installing
and updating McAfee and enforcing local policies; - Sorting
telephone and network issues that arise on a daily basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ICT Officer should hold an undergraduate degree/Diploma, preferably in
Computer or Information Systems. - At
least three years’ working experience in Web Application and Database
interface dev. - Professional
Certified Business Analyst Professional, CBAP – Must. - Web
Security Certifications – An added advantage. - Past
Project Management Course an added advantage. - ODB
and Linux knowledge an added advantage. - Excellent
web development and analysis - Past
WAP knowledge - Excellent
interpersonal and leadership skills - Highly
self driven - High
degree of personal integrity – - Goal
oriented - Excellent
diplomatic skills - Highly
organized - Flexible
and available
