Saint Paul’s Cathedral
Namirembe, commonly referred to as Namirembe Cathedral, is the oldest cathedral
in Uganda. It serves as the Provincial Cathedral of the Church of Uganda and
the diocesan cathedral for Namirembe Diocese, the first diocese to be founded in
the Church of Uganda province, in 1890. Between 1919 and 1967, the Cathedral
served as the provincial cathedral of the Church of Uganda, Anglican Communion.
In the 1960s, the headquarters of the Church of Uganda moved to All Saints
Church in Nakasero then moved back to Namirembe later.

Job Summary: The Human
Resource and Administration Officer will be responsible for offering timely effective
and efficient human resources and administrative management support to the
Cathedral.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business
Administration or Management Sciences - At
least three years relevant experience in Administration and Human Resource
Management. - Past
experience at senior management level is an added advantage. - Professional
Human Resource and/or Administration qualifications will also be an added
advantage. - Excellent
interpersonal, communication and report writing skills; - Proficiency
in use of computer and general IT applications; and proven integrity. - Working
knowledge of procurement procedures as well as protocol services will be
an added advantage.
