Job Summary: The Finance and Administration
Manager will provide management to the accounting, internal auditing, reporting
and oversee the HR and Recruitment. Reporting to the Ugandan Country Director,
this position will be responsible for executing the budget process, which
includes building and managing the budget end-to-end, collaborating with every
budget owner to ensure financial expectations are met and in line with our
mission of developing 20,000 education places by 2020.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should possess a good Bachelor’s
    Degree of Business, majoring in Commerce or Business Administration
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), ACCA, CIMA or
  • Significant experience in using Accounting packages
    for reporting (QuickBooks an advantage)
  • Highly computer literate with advanced knowledge of
    Excel, Word, PowerPoint and computerised accounts systems
  • Excellent communication skills/Interpersonal skills
  • Possess the ability to liaise with all departments
    and management levels across Uganda and Australia
  • Possess the ability to react to varying time lines
    and meet set deadlines
