Electoral Commission
Uganda
is established under Article 60 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda
and mandated to conduct public elections and referenda professionally,
impartially and efficiently. It was set up under Article 60 to 67 of the 1995
Constitution of the Republic of Uganda.
- In
charge of filing and servicing of court processes. - Attending
to Chamber Registry - Monitoring
ongoing cases - Updating
and maintaining the Legal Calendar for the Chambers - Obtaining
cause lists from Courts of Law - Be
the custodian of Legal Files - Updating
the Chamber/Case work files - Conducting
general searches - Perform
any other official duties as assigned.
- Applicants
should be Ugandans holding a Diploma in Law from Law Development Center,
Kampala, with a Certificate in Process Server. - The
applicants should have served as Court server for at least two years. - Computer
knowledge is a MUST and being a registered voter is an added advantage. - High
moral character and integrity - Possess
excellent interpersonal and team work skills. - Excellent
command of spoken and written English. - Possess
the ability to work under minimum supervision.
