Commission
Uganda
is established under Article 60 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda
and mandated to conduct public elections and referenda professionally,
impartially and efficiently. It was set up under Article 60 to 67 of the 1995
Constitution of the Republic of Uganda.
- Conducting
planned audit assignments in compliance with set standards, procedures,
rules and regulations. - Conducting
systems audits and verification of payments. - Supporting
in providing guidance on proper financial management procedures and
regulations. - Regularly
reviewing Internal Audit control procedures and systems in use to test
their adequacy and compliance. - Perform
any other official duties as assigned.
- The
candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in either Finance and Accounting
or Commerce (Accounting Option), or Business Administration (Accounting
Option) or a Professional Qualification from a recognized institution. - Computer
knowledge is a must. - Being
a registered voter is an added advantage. - At
least two years’ working experience at the level of Internal Auditor or
equivalent level in a large and reputable organization.
