hospital is an urban community hospital with all the amenities of a modern
hospital. Mengo Hospital, a Church of Uganda founded Private-Not-For-Profrt
Institution, with capacity of 300 beds.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The
incumbent deputizes the Medical Director in providing overall leadership
to the Hospital - Manages
the planning and overall functioning of medical services at the Hospital - Takes
lead and supervises the Medical Division including Clinical Staff,
Clinics, Wards, - Outpatient
Departments, Theatres, Investigative departments and specialist Clinics
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant must be a qualified, experienced and senior Medical Doctor
holding M.B.CH.B Degree, with a relevant post graduate qualification
including M.MED, M. Public Health and M. Health Services Management etc
from a recognized university - A
minimum of ten (10) years’ working experience in clinical practice, with
managerial experience of Health services (or of a Health facility) at a
senior management level; - Good
leadership skills; - The
candidate must also be registered and licensed by UMDPC; - Computer
literacy skills is a requirement.
Age: Above 40 years.
