The National Forestry Authority
(NFA) is a Government agency established under the National Forestry and Tree
Planting Act, 2003 as a corporate body responsible for sustainable development
and management of Central Forest Reserves (CFRs) and provision of technical
support to stakeholders in the forest sub-sector.

Job Summary: The NFA
Coordinator Corporate Planning will be charged with ensuring the development,
maintenance and Communication of NFA’s strategic business plans.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively
coordinate and prepare business plans for internal and external clients of
NFA. - Coordinate
and prepare Annual Operating Plan and Budget Framework Papers. - Assess
and evaluate performance of strategic, business and operating plans. - Compile
and send timely analytical reports using relevant information available. - Prepare
project proposals in liaison with relevant internal and external NFA
clients. - Actively
coordinate implementation of strategic and business plans. - Coordinate
all business planning related activities with internal and external
clients.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the aforementioned NFA career placement should an
Honours Degree in Statistics or Economics. Possession of a Postgraduate
training in Project Planning and Management will be an added advantage. - At
least five (5) years of experience in Corporate Planning and business
development two of which should have been at middle management level. - Possess
excellent financial, business acumen, strategic planning skills as well as - Organizational
and interpersonal skills - Computer
literacy skills i.e. Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point
and Project experience is an added advantage.
