About IRD:
International Relief and
Development (IRD), is a non-profit organization specializing in international
development and humanitarian assistance in over 40 countries. IRD works with a
wide range of partners to design and implement programs in the areas of health,
economic development, relief, infrastructure, civil society, and food security.
IRD will be implementing an anticipated Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
program in Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    Project Communications Officer should possess a related Bachelor’s degree
  • A
    minimum of seven or more years’ experience advising senior project staff
    on counsel to advance external communications efforts including brand
    positioning and organizational visibility related to the project.
  • Detailed
    working knowledge of USAID branding and marking policies.
