Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure
that internal procedures, controls, processes and policies agree with
corporate policies. - Render
support in the preparation of audit calendar and in the planning of audit
visits.
Draft audit reports as and when required. - Perform
any other cognate duties as delegated by Management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
candidate should preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and
Finance, Business administration (Accounting option) or the equivalent
professional qualification in Accountancy such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent
professional qualification accountancy obtained from a an awarding
institution recognised by ICPAU - At
least three years’ work experience, two of which should be in a position
of comparable responsibility in a reputable organisation. - Membership
of ICPAU and computer knowledge of standard desktop applications is
requirement. - Exhaustive
knowledge of computerised accounting package - Possession
of CIA and membership to the institute of Internal Auditors-Uganda and IIA
will be added advantages.
