- Oversees
all project operations team in assigned area of responsibility and
performs project management duties during the absence of the project
manager. - Develops
and implements organization policies, practices, procedures; ensures the
attainment of operational goals. - Intuitively
reviews, analyzes and prepares reports, records, and directives, and
confers with managers / supervisors to obtain data required for planning
activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and
problems encountered. - Assigns,
or delegates responsibility for work assignments or functional activities
and disseminates policies and objectives to staff. - Organizes
resources to ensure effective delivery of goods and services. - Offers
work direction, resolves problems, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines
to ensure timely completion of work. - Evaluates
current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives
to develop and implement improved procedures and practices. - Actively
coordinates activities of departments with related activities of other
departments to ensure efficiency and economy. - Ensures
departmental reports are accurate and provided in a timely manner. - Performs
all work safely in accordance with Fluor practices, actively participates
in improving safety in the workplace, and if/when supervising others is
responsible for their safety and safe work behaviors.
- The
applicant must have completed High School or GED - At
least seven to nine years’ directly related experience - The
applicant must be eligible to obtain a security clearance - Excellent
communication and leadership skills. - Excellent
computer skills with various scheduling programs, MS Office Suite, and
various databases. - Possession
of a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred - Past
Military experience, and contractor on the battlefield experience is an
added advantage - Prior
successful assignments in Africa and or with Department of State is
preferred - Fluency
in written and spoken English.
