Job Summary: The Deputy
Accountant will be responsible for processing high volume invoices, payment
runs and reconciliations and undertaking a wide variety of accounting responsibilities.

runs and reconciliations and undertaking a wide variety of accounting responsibilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing
all supplier invoices on a daily basis, ensuring matching to purchase
orders and delivery notes. - Ensure
that all invalid documents as and when necessary are returned - In
charge of the distribution of supplier invoices for authorization to various
departments. - Processing
supplier invoices via Tally Accounting System - Actively
monitor and review of outstanding invoices with prompt resolution of
queries - In
charge of ensuring all supplier invoices are filed accurately and timely. - Answering
suppliers phone calls and resolving queries - Ensure
reconciliation of supplier statements - Intuitively
reconcile the Purchase ledger to general ledger on a monthly basis - Process
all petty cash payments, cheque payments and ensure authorization by
various officers. - Assist
in preparation of reconciliation including Statement of Financial Position
reconciliations. - Assist
in preparation of bank reconciliation. - Assist
in receiving cash payments from customers, and preparation of receipts. - Ensuring
all supplies for raw materials are duly authorized, confirm with receiving
officers that company receives value for money. - Perform
any other duties as required by Accountant & management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate should preferably hold a good Bachelor’s degree in commerce
or accounting & Finance. - Professional
ACCA or CPA final stage qualification. - Two
or more years’ experience in the similar Job. - Past
exposure and experience with tally accounting software.
