Client in the Engineering industry.
Job Summary: The Service
Technician will mainly fulfill the service need by performing the assigned
technical job independently or as part of a team, as per the manufacture
standard achieving optimum repair cost & time and report back as required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Clean,
    repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components for the repair
    allowing for better quality.
  • Carry
    out the service job, including disassembling & assembling of
    components and parts, following the right procedures.
  • Determine
    reusability of parts in accordance with published Manufacturer reusability
    guidelines for cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure
    ordering of new parts & replacement parts for the repair, consulting
    the updated sources of information.
  • Test,
    measure, and adjust engine and machine systems and components to ensure it
    is as per the required quality & recommended standard.
  • Communicate
    problems and nature of repair to supervisors enabling for quick response
    & recommended solutions.
  • Keep
    up to date with developments in tooling, technologies and systems,
    consulting the right information for quality repair handling.
  • Adhere
    to Safety aspects and company policies & manufacturer recommendation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
    (Mechanical, electrical, or agricultural) or Diploma in Engineering
    (University, VT).
  • At
    least three years’ experience in heavy equipment, engine, or electric
    power generation systems mechanic & electric repair
  • Skills
    & Knowledge in updated service Publications & required service
    information systems. Working knowledge of the equipment application,
    operation, and function
  • Good
    problem solving techniques and guiding, communication, and reporting
  • Teamwork
    spirit Experience (indicate depth & breadth)
  • Successful
    completion of apprenticeship program
  • The
    applicant must also have completed level I service technician program
