Job Summary: The Health
Manager (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for leading the health systems
strengthening component by providing project management and technical support
to Health Facility Coordinators responsible for ‘Preventing Malnutrition in
Children Under-2 (PM2A)’ services in Karamoja. S/he will coordinate and collaborate
with project staff to improve their technical skills and build their capacity
to support health systems strengthening, health seeking behaviours and
programme quality. The Health Manager will work closely with the District
Health Teams and health facility personnel to ensure quality provision of a
range of health and nutrition services.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicants for the Concern Worldwide jobs should hold a clinical degree in
nursing, medicine or a Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Service
Management or health-related field. - Five
or more years’ technical experience in health service delivery/management
or health systems strengthening. - Past
exposure and experience in working in partnership with district local
government. Excellent personnel management skills, leadership qualities,
mediation and facilitation skills. - Excellent
written and spoken English is required
