Job Summary: The
Operation and Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for the technical and
programmatic oversight for all operation and maintenance activities. Support
project management, capacity building and coordination with Hand Pump Mechanics
Associations and local government and community structures. The incumbent will also offer technical
support in regard to the development of bills of quantities and contract
management to relevant stakeholders.
Operation and Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for the technical and

Associations and local government and community structures. The incumbent will also offer technical
support in regard to the development of bills of quantities and contract
management to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Public
Health. - At
least five (5) years hands on experience in implementing WASH programmes
with an NGO. - Past
exposure and experience in working with district local government and
local civil society organisations. - Computer
proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS and Epanet
and MS Office an advantage. - Excellent
written and spoken English is required.
