Environmental Health Officer will work towards improving hygiene behaviour and
sanitation coverage in communities and train people to manage water and
sanitation facilities in Karamoja. The incumbent will facilitate training on
CLTS /PHAST methodologies for local government project implementing staff
including parish WASH Committees.
- The
candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Environmental
Health Sciences, Water Engineering or related field - A
minimum of three or more years’ experience in planning and implementing
WASH or environmental health interventions. - Proven
training and facilitation skills - Proficiency
and knowledge of the current WASH guidelines - Basic
computer literacy and have a valid driving permit with minimum Class A. - The
ideal candidate should have some understanding of Ngakarimojong or Pokot
and excellent written and spoken English is required
