Job Summary: The
Clinical Nurse will be responsible for the promotion and maintenance of high
standards of professional nursing care to meet the needs of patients and their
families in all aspects of care. The nurse will ensure that s/he maintains safe
practice and a safe environment. S/he will treat patients with dignity and
ensure confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
candidate should hold a Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing with
2 years’ continuous clinical nursing experience - ATLS/ACLS/BLS/EPLS
certification or other unit based specific requirements; - Hold
certificate in Accident and Emergency course (A&E); - Registration
with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council; - Possess
the ability to transmit knowledge and skills through patient education; - Competence
in chosen area of clinical practice with commitment to excellence in
practice nursing; - Respect
for and receptivity to other cultures; - Excellent
verbal and written communication skills; - Computer
literacy i.e. proficient in Microsoft Office Application computer skills
