About BRAC:
BRAC is one the largest
Non-Governmental Development Organization in the world, working in a number of
countries in Africa and Asia on poverty alleviation Programs, is registered in
Uganda as BRAC Uganda. The organization implements integrated development
approach combining Education, Health, Agriculture, Livestock, Adolescent
Empowerment and Micro finance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • In
    charge of developing policies and strategies for promoting adolescents
    health at local, regional or national level
  • Actively
    coordinating with other stakeholders to promote a healthy context or
    social environment as well as Sharing up-to-date information by analyzing,
    and applying current technical data relevant to adolescent reproductive
    health.
  • The
    incumbent will be developing health awareness programs for individual
    adolescents or groups, to create a conducive environment for them in order
    to facilitate healthy and informed choices.
  • Compile
    and submit periodical reports, donor reports as per need.
  • Perform
    any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    NGO Job seeker should hold a Degree in Population and Reproductive Health
    / Public health or Degree in any other relevant discipline. Possession of
    a Master’s degree would be an added advantage
  • A
    minimum of two or more years working experience in the field of
    Reproductive Health /related field in reputable organization.
  • Possess
    detailed working knowledge in the field of reproductive health.
  • Commendable
    managerial, administrative, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Possess
    the ability to readily analyze, understand and discuss new program
    designs, and implementation approaches.
  • Proven
    ability to identify priority actions, generate and complete work plans
    within short time frames.
  • Excellent
    communication in English both written and verbal.
  • Excellent
    computer literacy skills.
