Job Summary: The
Registered Nurse, SMC will support the SMC surgeon while conducting
circumcision procedures and provides post-operative nursing care to clients,
and disinfects and sterilizes surgical instruments. He/ she must treat each
client with dignity and respect.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate should have preferably completed a registered Nurses
Training from a recognized institution - The
candidate should have at least a year’s work experience preferably in a
circumcision surgical setting - Attained
Formal training in Circumcision service provision in a recognized
institution will be an added advantage. - Past
training and experience in the provision of Safe male Circumcision surgery
and comprehensive HIV/AIDS services will be an added advantage - The
candidate must be registered with the Uganda nurses and Midwives Council
