Job Summary: The
Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will be responsible for planning
including preparation of annual organisational budgets, producing periodic
forecasts covering profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow. The incumbent is also responsible for
providing decision support on new and ongoing projects undertaken by the
Company including business case preparation for capital investments and new
products and services. This will include running financial models and producing
regular reports to monitor performance of such projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working
in liaison with the Reporting Manager to prepare the annual budget and
supporting analysis and presentations - In
charge of preparing monthly and quarterly forecasts covering the profit
and loss account, cash-flow statement and balance sheet - Ensuring
that all budget/planning processes run effectively and comply with
required legislation while meeting all deadlines. - Responsible
for preparing business cases and financial models to support/determine
expected return on new projects, existing operational activity, proposed
tower builds and similar activity - Preparing
regular reports to monitor profit and loss and operation of defined KPI’s
on new and special interest projects - Performing
post evaluation reviews of projects that have been completed with a view
to evaluating deviations from plan and working with the concerned function
to achieve project objectives - Ensuring
that requisitions are within agreed budget and flagging deviations from
agreed budgets - The
candidate will also be conducting in-depth review of projects or accounts
to give the CFO and wider business an understanding of issues driving the
project - Compiling
and sending reports and presentations for the Finance Director that aid in
management decision making, reviews from the Corporate office, Board
meetings and any other such activity - Supporting
the CFO on other projects and operational support as may be assigned from
time to time - Working
closely with other teams to ensure the organisation’s strategic goals and
performance objectives are met - Creating
a high performing team environment enabling employees to reach their full
potential and maximise personal and business performance
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
candidate should hold a degree in Finance and Accounting - Qualified
CPA - Six
or more years’ experience in a busy and dynamic finance department; - Extensive
experience on Financial Planning and Budgeting - Three
or more years’ experience supervising a team of 2 or more; - Past
exposure and experience in Oracle Financials preferable - Computer
literacy skills i.e. expert user on Excel and Power-point - Excellent
verbal and written communication skills - Organisational
skills - Accuracy
and attention to detail - Skills
in financial modelling - Possess
the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Excellent
analytical skills.
