• In
  charge of the preparation and review of management accounts. Ensure
  accuracy and quality control.
• Preparation
  and review of ALCO reports.
• Responsible
  for the maintenance of the fixed assets register and ensure compliance
  with the fixed assets policy.
• Charged
  with the daily and consistent review of the trial balance with particular
  emphasis on income/expense ledgers.
• Ensure
  correctness of postings and prompt reversals of mispostings.
• Ensure
  correct and timely submission of payroll returns and installment tax to
  the regulatory authorities.
• Accurately
  prepare Bank of Uganda returns and ensuring these are accurate and
  submitted in line with the prudential guidelines.
• Intuitively
  review of LPO/Invoices to ensure accuracy and in line with the budget
  provisions. Also ensure the documents are duly authorized before posting
  into the Core Banking System.
• Continuous
  automation of management reports to achieve efficiency.
• Support
  the Finance Manager with financial planning and budget preparation.

• The
  applicants must hold bachelor’s degree in a business related field
• Professional
  ACCA/CPA Part Qualification – at least Level II
• At
  least three years’ experience preferably gained in the financial services
  industry.
• Be
  a team player with excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication
  skills.
• Highly
  computer literate with working/hands knowledge of Oracle based
  applications, Microsoft Word and Excel
