Job Summary: The Credit Manager position will be
responsible for the entire credit granting process at branch level, including
the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of
existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential
customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of asset growth and bad debt
losses.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall growth of branch asset portfolio and
quality of the assets - Oversee the quality of branch portfolio
- In charge of the appraisal and account relationship management for
all borrowing - Actively monitor and effect compliance to credit policies and
procedures for all the loans disbursed - Oversee all credit staff within the branch in accordance with set
targets - Cascading and enforcement of all credit circulars on policy changes
and lending guidelines communicated from head office from time to time - Ensure cross selling of other products and services of the Bank to
increase the Bank’s income streams from existing customers - Track and monitor customer service level agreements at all times
such as the turnaround time for loan appraisals
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants for the Equity Bank Credit Manager jobs should hold
bachelor’s degrees in business related field - At least three years working experience in credit with at least 1
year at supervisory or management level - Highly customer centric disposition
- Target orientation and strong output bias and results
- Excellent analytical and people management skills
