Steering Committee is the decision-making body for RSCE, in compliance with
General Assembly resolutions, United Nations Secretariat rules and regulations,
strategic guidance from United Nations Headquarters and oversight bodies. The
Steering Committee consults with the Global Field Support Strategy
Implementation Coordination Team, as required.

Property Disposal Assistant will be primarily responsible for the efficient and
effective handling of operations.
- Support
in the receiving and verification of
items/waste materials from Self Accounting Units as per hand-over
documents and report immediately for any discrepancy - Attend
Board of Survey and represent PDU when it is necessary - Identify,
categorize and sort items/ waste materials on similar functions - Keep
items on pallets, list, label and place them on their proper locations - Update
bin locations in the database once items are physically placed. - Keep
the proper inventory of all items by verified physically on an interim
basis - Support
in entering data for new arrival items to the Property Disposal database - Prepare
items in lots that are recommended for sale through bidding exercises - Operate
fork lift to keep movement of items within the warehouse and scrap yard - Ensure
the removal of barcodes and any UN marks from items ready for collection
by successful bidders and/or contractors - Responsible
for keeping the warehouse and storage facilities clean, well-organized and
