Job Summary: The Managing
Director will oversee and manage the affairs of the

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:

- Develop and recommend goals, strategies
and objectives to the Board to ensure the maximization of shareholder
value and the long-term success of the Corporation and competitiveness. - Develop, recommend to the Board and
implement capital and operating plans that support the Corporation’s
long-term strategic objectives. - Identify the principal risks of the Corporation
and ensure the implementation of appropriate systems to manage the same. - Develop annual capital commitment and
expenditure budgets for approval by the Board. - Responsible for developing annual
operating forecasts of revenue, expenditures, operational results and
financial performance. - Ensure that the Corporation assets are
adequately safeguarded and optimized in the best interest of all the
stakeholders. - Actively formulate and oversee the
implementation of major corporate policies. - Make sure that appropriate relationships
are maintained between the Corporation and its key stakeholders. - Ensure that appropriate personnel and
systems are in place for the integrity and adequacy of the Corporation’s
internal control and management information systems. - Guarantee that all operations and
activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations,
the Corporation’s Code of Business Ethics, good Corporate Governance
principles and practices.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a
Postgraduate Degree in any of the following Engineering, Business
Administration, Management. - A minimum of fifteen or more years’
experience in a reputable large organisation, of which 10 years should
have been at a senior managerial level. - The applicant must be a visionary leader
with a demonstratable track record in developing and implementing
organisational turn around strategies. - Excellent interpersonal skills.
