Company that operates 4G broadband data and voice wireless network services. NFT

improved efficiency and effectiveness yet simultaneously strengthening quality
and control of resources.
Distribution Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting all the
Company’s wholesale distributors of recharge vouchers and SIM-only packs
operating in designated geographical regions.
The main objective of the Indirect Distribution Manager is to develop an
effective indirect distribution channel through nurturing successful
relationships with strategic partners and ensuring peak availability and
promotion of the company’s products through this channel countrywide at all
times. The incumbent will ensure and be accountable for the planning required
to achieve the KPIs, standards and measures so as to meet the set goals of this
channel. The job function involves managing, supporting and ensuring the
performance and maintenance of the company’s standards of the wholesale
distributors within their designated geographical territories.
Responsibilities:
- The Indirect Distribution Manager is
responsible for defining regional sales territories, signing up suitable
wholesale distributors for each territory and managing those relationships
to maximize this indirect distribution channel for the company through: - Locating, interviewing and negotiating
with potential new wholesale distributors for the company portfolio. - Offering effective support to new
wholesale distributors during their start-up period through to the
delivery of sales direction and familiarization with the company’s
processes, logistics and the ongoing continuous monitoring of performance
and sales targets of the same. - In accordance with the established company
process and procedures, establishing and maintaining monthly and quarterly
sales and performance targets with each distributor and aligning
commission and incentives programs accordingly. - Conducting regular review meetings with
the manager/owner of each wholesale distributor to review actual
performance against targets set and agreeing any remedial action required,
if any, to maximise performance. - Proficiently conducting ‘mystery shopper’ inspections of retail
points of sale to ensure the Company’s products are adequately stocked,
properly promoted and sold in accordance with company standards and
pre-determined guidelines. - Working in close collaboration with the
marketing team, interact and agree with each distributor on the optimal
approach to implement short-term local sales promotions within the
respective distributor’s territory. - Effectively managing the Lead Management
process by promptly responding to leads and the onward forwarding to the
requisite distributor and ensuring timely follow up and action. - Continuously scanning the competitive
marketplace to provide regular and accurate market intelligence to
colleagues within the organization on market and competition distributor
trends and activities. - Providing precise, accurate, timely and
regular field reports in accordance with established timelines and
processes to facilitate the company’s response to current market and
competitive conditions. - Delivering all the applicable daily,
weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports within the prescribed
deadlines and standards.
Experience:
- The successful candidate will hold a
bachelor’s degree in a business-related course with a good pass record and
preferably four years’ experience in a similar role in a mobile operator - At least four years’ proven experience in
a distributor/wholesale sales position. - A minimum of two years’ experience in a
supervisory / management position. - Demonstrable excellent people-management,
motivation and team building skills. - Excellent written and oral English
language skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all
levels. - Highly proficient in all MS Office
applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Past experience working in
telecommunications in a fast-moving, rapidly evolving environment. - Proven high-level numerical and analysis
skills and expertise in the provision of MI for review by management. - Willingness to work long hours as and when
required in accordance with business requirements. - Self-motivated with the ability
successfully motivate and support others. - Excellent communication, presentation and
customer service skills. - Fast learner, flexible, hardworking and
dynamic. - Possess the ability to work as an active
team player with all company personnel.
