About STF:
Straight Talk Foundation is an
indigenous health communications NGO operating nationally in Uganda through the
provision of quality behaviour change programs. Straight Talk Foundation (STF)
is a Ugandan health communication NGO registered in 1997.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Scrutinizes
    and prescribes treatment for STF adult & child patients in line with
    Good Clinical Practice,
  • Offers
    effective referrals of clients to other points
  • Manage
    and monitor drugs, supplies including family planning contraceptives in
    line with required standards;
  • Performs
    continuous assessment of patients under medication,
  • Offers
    technical guidance to the clinical staff regarding referrals in line with
    Good clinical Practice;
  • Provide
    PEP treatment to GBV survivors.
  • Compile
    and send reports to the district health office in line with MoH and STF
    formats.
  • Take
    part in the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures
    governing adult and child patient care provision at STF clinic.
 Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    applicant should preferably hold a Diploma in Clinical Medicine with
    additional training in HIV and AIDS management and care.
  • At
    least three years clinical experience preferably in an HIV management,
    care and support environment
