provide community legal services. Some of It’s key functions include;
- To provide legal training to lawyers and
non lawyers - To research into topical legal issues and
recommend proposals for law reform - To provide law reports and legal
publications - To provide community legal services
and Marketing Officer will be planning, organizing, guiding and controlling
Sales and Marketing function to meet the strategic objectives, goals and
revenue targets of the department
- Develop annual sales and marketing plan,
budget and implement a marketing strategy. - Develop, plan and implement sales and
customer retention, growth and development. - Design and execute sales and marketing
strategies set in the plan. - Render support in identifying new business
opportunities and advise management on the best ways of obtaining new
business and/ or retaining existing one. - Recommend and identify innovative
production solutions and programs that will meet the needs of the market. - Monitor departmental sales and marketing
performance against set targets. - Significantly contribute to sales process
management. - Design and manage sales and market
research. - Compile and submit monthly sales and
marketing reports. - Analyse, interpret and distribute sales
and market data to relevant offices. - Set and manage sales targets.
- Ensure that all sales and marketing staff
have clear job descriptions that are SMART. - Compile and send periodic sales and
marketing reports to the Manager LDC Publishers. - Perform any other duties assigned by the
Manager LDC Publishers or Head of Department from time to time.
Experience:
- The applicant should possess an honour’s
degree in Business Administration (Marketing option), B.Com (Marketing
option) from a recognized university. Possession of a higher Diploma in
marketing from a recognized institution is an added advantage. - Professional qualification in Marketing
from Chartered Institute of Marketing is an added advantage. - Three or more years relevant work
experience in a competitive environment. - Computer literacy skills.
