Administrator/ICT Officer

provide legal education to lawyers and non lawyers, undertake research in
topical legal issues, contribute to legal reform, produce legal publications,
teaching materials, law reports and also provide community legal services. Some
of It’s key functions include;
- To
provide legal training to lawyers and non lawyers - To
research into topical legal issues and recommend proposals for law reform - To
provide law reports and legal publications - To
provide community legal services
Technician will offer technical software support to users, maintain and repair
various hardware systems, provide network solutions to computer users and
install/trouble shoot software applications in line with the Centre Policy.
- Identify,
diagnose and receive technical problems from users and carry out
preventive maintenance of computers. - Update
and maintain computers, software and hardware, network, internet and new
computer technology. - Offer
timely technical support to end users. - Deliver
tags, set up and assist in the configuration of end user desk top
hardware, software and peripherals. - Diagnose
and repair computer equipment and accessories as need arises. - Maintain
E-mails, internet, dial- in and local area network access problems. - Coordinate
timely repairs of computer equipment. - Quickly
report to the Website Administrator/ ICT Officer and submit periodic
reports of the assigned and delegated duties. - Perform
any other duties as may be assigned by the Administrator/ ICT Officer,
Administration Manager or Head of Department from time to time.
- The
ICT Technician should hold a Diploma or Certificate with training in
Microsoft operating systems and networks, Windows XP, Windows 7 and
Windows 8. - Past
exposure and experience with Microsoft Office products (2007, 2010.) - Past
exposure and experience and/or knowledge of various networking systems
concepts including email, firewall, client-servers, network security,
network protocols, etc.
- Possess
the ability to troubleshoot common hardware/software issues. - Previous
experience with computer and printer maintenance and repair.
