Job Summary: The
incumbent will be responsible for IS Service Management and Service Delivery. A
core element of this role is to support the operational activities related to
technical infrastructure services. This will primarily be achieved by working
with our main support partners/providers as well as local providers. The role
requires that the IS operating model, based around a set of common IS
processes, is enforced. SAP applications support and development features
prominently in our key provider’s deliverables. Brilliant execution of the
Delivery processes e.g. GDBS Projects underpinned by the Global Support Model
is critical, and these are delivered through a global organisation that
integrates across external service providers to service business unit needs.
The scope of the Service Delivery organisation is estimated at around 70% of
total IS investment. A customer focused mindset is an absolute prerequisite in
this role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for developing and managing key relationships with business partners both
local and central IS Support (Accenture, Verizon, CSC, IBM etc). - Identify
opportunities for process improvement - Actively
contribute to customer satisfaction measurement - Manage
and maintain GDBS services - Responsible
for implementing minor changes (SAC, CRQ, RFS, NSR) - Manage
operational services against service level agreements - Risk
and compliance management (GAR, CARM & internal Audit) - Manage
payment of invoices for services rendered - Actively
support business/IS driven programmes and projects - Facilitate
programme/project technical tests, user and pilot testing to ensure
business readiness. Manage the warranty period to ensure customer
satisfaction. - Oversee
the handover process to the Support Team by accepting and signing off BAU
processes. - Manage
signed off SIL for new project initiatives when introduced.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical
service or business discipline - A
minimum of three years’ experience in IS in an FMCG environment or IS
services industry. - Strong
commercial acumen and business partnering skills and manage SLA - Excellent
organisational and customer service skills - Possess
the ability to work in a dynamic environment. - Extensive
working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley requirements - Detailed
knowledge or certification of ITIL processes
