Bank Uganda was established in the year 2007 and has grown to become one of
Uganda’s top ten commercial banks. Currently KCB Bank Uganda has 14 branches
complemented with 16 ATMs spread on Kampala Road, Commercial Plaza, Ben
Kiwanuka, Luwum Street, Oasis Mall Sixth Street, Arua, Elgon Masaba, Fort
Portal, Gulu, Hoima, Lira, Mbarara and Jinja that offer trade financing,
corporate and retail banking services to customers.
Administration Manager will be responsible for monitoring & controlling the
Bank’s good book and ensuring compliance with facility sanction conditions,
Credit policy and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Make sure that the loan approval
conditions are complied with before disbursement. - Keenly track and monitor performance of
the bank’s good loan book to ensure maintenance of a quality Credit
portfolio. - Manage the loan disbursement and ensure
collection of negotiation fee/commission and correct data set up. - Manage generation and submission of Credit
reports for administrative, financial and regulatory reporting. - In charge of Securities Management.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of suspense
accounts in view of minimizing credit risk. - Ensure loan approval conditions are stated
in customer offer letters and bank’s interest covered. - Covenant tracking.
- Assist the Head of Credit in executing
other duties that will be assigned from time to time.
Experience:
- The applicant for the aforementioned
Banking career opportunity should possess a good Bachelor’s Degree in a
Business related field. - A minimum of four or more years’
experience in a bank with three years’ experience in Credit. - Excellent computer skills, Office Suite
- The candidate must clearly demonstrate
experience and/or ability to have led a team - Excellent financial and business
analytical skills - Excellent documentation and process
management skills - Good working knowledge of the Financial
institutions Act, Mortgage Act, Company’s Act and Consumer Protection
