Development Manager will be responsible for identifying business opportunities
and following up to achieve steady growth of the Hospital’s business volume.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying and delivering
opportunities for activity growth - Growing and increasing market awareness of
Nsambya Hospital services. - Creating effective sales results through
strategic marketing, developing reference sites and key opinion leader
management - Remaining up to date on market activities
and competitor movements. Provide information on market trends, upcoming
projects and competitor sales tactics - Responsible for developing and
implementing hospital and consultant specific marketing plans - High level consultant liaison, developing
excellent and durable relationships and influencing accordingly - Work in liaison with the Hospital Directors
to identify new business growth opportunities including those which are
non-Consultant led, e.g. nurse-led services, physiotherapy etc - Budgetary management responsibility for
business development and marketing functions - Monitoring, analyzing and evaluating
success of new sales and/or marketing initiatives, promotions etc - Develop proposals for presentation to
potential clients - Work to promote the image of the
organization.
Experience:
- The ideal candidates should preferably
hold a Bachelor of Commerce or its equivalent and an additional
qualification in marketing (at least a diploma). - The applicant will be an avid and
proficient communicator - In addition, the candidate should be able
to display excellent customer care skills financial awareness and a high
degree of customer focus. - Past business development experience,
preferably gained from within the healthcare, pharmaceutical or customer
service sectors. - Be results-driven and a good team player
with demonstrable leadership qualities - S/he should be competent in proposal
writing.
