Job Summary: The
business developer’s main task is to drive the growth of the company, both by
generating new business opportunities and by motivating and challenging
employees. Working primarily with the sales and marketing team, the desired
person will develop training plans to educate and motivate the employees of the
company to perform at their most profitable level. Strategic planning for
future development is a key part of this job description, to develop the
pipeline of new business opportunities coming in to the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
The Online Business
Developer ensures Zidi delivers high customer experience and value as a
destination and authority for products and services. You will independently
develop but implement sales action plans with your team, monitoring business
results, and driving execution of sales strategies.
  • This
    person will work in tandem with programmers in maintaining Zidi website
    up-to-date and relevant to the customer needs and requirements and
    responding to inquiries in a timely fashion and answering questions on
    stock and sourcing or referring customers to sellers who can provide these
  • Coordinating
    with a web content supervisor to update the website and create Internet
    promotions and advertisements.
  • Identify
    business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their
    position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Foster
    and grow relationships with clients by providing support, information, and
    guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending
    profit and service improvements to the business.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration,
    Business Computing, or Information Technology but with a strong background
    and experience in sales and marketing.
  • At
    least two years’ experience in a business developer’s role or any other
    similar portfolio in a busy/fast paced working environment.
  • The
    applicant should basically love the Internet and excellent social media
  • Possess
    good computer skills, writing skills and excellent organizational skills
    to assist keep track of all sales leads and to keep the website data
    up-to-date with relevant content.
  • Excellent
    communication skills in order to work most effectively with customers and
    willing to work in awkward and extended hours, evenings and weekends to
    achieve their goals.

    (transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of
