About US:
The Motorcenter East Africa Ltd started as Go Nissan Ltd in 2005 as a dealership for Nissan vehicles and Suzuki motorcycles. The 3-S dealership with sales, service and showroom facilities had a mandate to promote and manage the Nissan brand in the Entebbe area. By mid 2006, the Entebbe market was saturated and as part of the growth strategy it was decided to expand our product and geographical mandate. We sourced for brands that would bring value for money to our market, and entered into distributor agreements with manufacturers in China and Thailand.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, motivating, training, coaching, and developing a high performing team of staff.
- Develop and continuously review and update Motor center East Africa Limited strategy, business functions, decision-making and workflow to ensure an organizational climate that achieves set objectives.
- Accomplishes financial objectives by establishing plans, forecasting, budgeting, allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
- Communicate company values, strategies, and objectives in order to develop a climate for offering information and opinions and business solutions.
- Plan and manage successful projects, manage risks, costs, time and project teams
Qualification, skills and Experience:
- The applicant should hold an honors Bachelor degree in Business management from a recognized university
- At least five years’ experience in a management position.
- Management and leadership skills as well as the ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
- Financial and strategic planning ability.
- Person of high ethical standards and integrity
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Results oriented and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to be persuasive and influence decision- making.
- Excellent decision making and Problem Solving skills
- Highly flexible and adaptable
- Willingness to work long hours.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
