Management Training and
Advisory Centre (MTAC) is a body corporate under the Ministry of Trade,
Industry and Cooperatives; established initially as an ILO/UNDP/GOU Project in
1964 and later, by an Act of Parliament Cap. 29 of 1969. It was established,
among other things, to promote industrial and enterprise development.

Job Summary: The
Procurement Officer will develop, manage and co-ordinate the procurement
processes and to be able to use legally established professional and
transparent procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should possess an Honours’ Degree in Procurement/ Logistics. - Qualification
in CIPS is an advantage - Three
or more years in procurement and logistics in a reputable organization. - At
least 1 year of teaching/training in a higher education institution is a
requirement.
