- Actively participating in effective and
efficient legal research and reform. - Preparing legal research proposals for
consideration by DEI. - Actively participating in analysis and
review of policies and laws. - Carrying out research, participates in
data analysis and report writing. - Participating in drafting bills on
principles approved by Cabinet for consideration. - Perform any other duties as may be
assigned from time to time.
Experience: The Legal Officer should be a Ugandan who holds an Honour’s
Bachelor of Laws Degree from a recognized University/Institution plus a Post
Graduate Diploma in Legal practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC).
