The Uganda Nurses and Midwives
Council is a semi-autonomous Health Professional body under the MOH established
by Uganda Nurses and Midwives Act, 1996 to regulate and supervise the provision
of quality Nursing and Midwifery services to the public. Its mandate is to set
and regulate standards of training and practice of nursing and midwifery and
provide professional guidance for public safety.

Job Summary: The Legal
Officer will primarily advise and process all legal matters related to the
Council.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
candidate should hold an honors Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized
institution; - Postgraduate
Diploma in Legal practice from LDC - A
minimum of two years’ experience in legal practice in a reputable
organization; - The
applicant should be an Advocate of the High Court with a practicing
license and member to a relevant professional body.
